Best countries to travel to in Covid-infested 2022

We wish everyone a happy new year, and hope you and your family are safe in these perilous times. For us, traveling puts our minds at ease, relaxes us, and takes away the stresses of the Covid-ridden modern day world. Also, we are advocates of traveling to a place and living there for a couple of weeks to feel the vibe of the city, and even work from there if your job allows! And hence, we are putting together our list of top 5 countries to visit across the world during these hard times.

Chile

We want to put this beautiful country at the top of our list. Because you should either be a spontaneous traveler and make it to Chile before February, or you are the one who loves planning and should start planning your December 2022 trip right away.

Reason being that December-February is the best time to visit Chile. And with the low population density and the opportunity to avoid crowds as you go hiking or skiing (or just a road trip!) is perfect to avoid contracting Covid. It is even listed as the most resilient country when it comes to the coronavirus.

Canada

If you are looking for some mind-blowing experiences, travel around Canada. It has everything you could imagine (including the smallest desert in the world Yes, really.) Go skiing at world-renowned Whistler, enjoy a meal at one of the bougie Vancouver eateries, hike around Banff National Park, marvel at Niagara falls or get transported to the streets of Europe in Old Quebec City. And the list is never ending. And believe me, there is no bias here whatsoever. It is by living here that I've seen how mind-blowing this country is.

Norway

Start planning your summer cruising along the magnificent Fjords or hike around them to get unparalleled views. Just like Chile, the country provides enough variety of adventures and culture, along with safety from the omnipresent coronavirus. If you have other plans for the summer (like visiting Canada!), then visit in the fringe season and enjoy the spectacle of northern lights.

Spain

Whether you love bulls, tomatoes or mind-boggling architecture, Spain is the place for you. Yes, it isn't the most sparsely populated country, but you can chose to go on enough awesome road trips to end up in the most beautiful towns you've ever seen. Or you could risk it and visit the historical cities of Madrid and Barcelona. And if beaches are what you are after, beaches in the south of Spain are as beautiful and warm as they come!

United Kingdom

Yes, I know what you're thinking. That seems like the worst suggestion during Covid. But if the awesome picture above were to give you a hint - just steer clear of the crowds. In a country as small as UK (relatively), there are so many first-class, instagram-worthy places to go to while staying out of crowded areas. Visit Isle of Skye in Scotland on a road trip worthy of a king from Game of Thrones or drive around the beautiful towns a few hours outside of the populous London area.

So don't stop your journey, keep traveling, and keep following our footprints :)
